Our
Orphanages
The boy on the left was one of the children
that we got to play with.  This group of
children that we spent time with all had
some kind of disability.  Even though they
had problems they were still happy.
Things have changed since when my
sister and I were there.
This was the oldest
child that was in the
group we saw.  The
green thing in his mouth
is candy.  They handed
out candy to all the kids
when they got quiet and
sat.
On the left is Doris our guide in
Hefei which is where Ana's
orphanage is.  She taught us a
lot of things including how to
write our names in Chinese and
about Lord Bao, a very good
man in Chinese history.  That is
him behind us.
